Welcome to our school, proud sister school to Wellbrook School. Together, our schools share a commitment to ensuring that every young person is known, valued and supported to thrive. We are a small, specialist community that believes size truly matters – because it allows us to place relationships, understanding and individual needs at the heart of everything we do.
Our experienced and compassionate team work with pupils aged 7–16 who have Autism and SEMH needs. We recognise that many of our young people have not always found success in traditional school settings, and so we adapt the school to the child – never the other way around. Through close partnership with families, professionals and external agencies, we create a safe, nurturing environment where pupils feel understood, supported and ready to re-engage with learning and life.We take a holistic approach to education, developing the whole child academically, socially and emotionally. Our personalised curriculum pathways are shaped by EHCP outcomes, pupils’ interests and aspirations, and parental voice, and include a balance of GCSEs, functional core studies and a strong social curriculum. Small, carefully designed learning spaces help us minimise social overload and enable pupils to build confidence, resilience and independence at their own pace.
Above all, we are ambitious for our pupils and for their futures. We want every young person to leave us with the skills, self-belief and sense of belonging they need to move forward into adulthood with confidence and purpose.
